Need help i think i broke it

Ok guys just to let you know i think I found out what is wrong the thermal pad above the CPU has melted can that be the prob ??

Probably not

Are you absolutely sure the RAM is going into the slot with the two clips clicking into place over the appropriate slot on the RAM?

I'm asking this as there was a guy who said his graphics card was not working, he kept saying he'd plugged it in properly, he'd plugged it in next to the slot, not in it.

No I'm sure I plugged it in like it was I have tried it 6 times now putting the ram in and still no but now I'm hearing a sizzle like something is burning but I carnet smell no smoke I think I have proper f***ed it up

Sounds like you have shorted the ram sticks take them out and smell the chips to see if you can smell burning why did you take them out anyway?

Is the CPU fan spinning ? You may have jogged the power cable for the fan ?

Ram shouldn't be that sensitive.
