I'm trying to find an AMD motherboard in the $100-150 range that has specs similar to these:
- support for Phenom II x6 with Core unlocker
- 4 RAM slots
- 2 PCI-e x16 slots with CrossfireX support
- preferably without integrated graphics as this increases cost
Right now I'm considering either:
Newegg.com - Open Box: ASUS Crosshair IV Formula AM3 AMD 890FX SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard
Newegg.com - Open Box: MSI 890FXA-GD70 AM3 AMD 890FX SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard
But I am hoping I can find something cheaper as I am building this computer on a budget. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Also anyone know anything about these open box offers, I read the thing on Newegg and it said it might not come with all accessories does that mean I might need to go out and buy the cords separately?
