Need help with computer, failing to connect to the internet

So my computer when ever i shut it down or restart when i boot it back on it won't connect to the computer unless I restart my router. It's getting really frustrating and I have no idea what to do. thanks!

This could be a lot of problems. Do you have other computers at your house that connect to this router? Do you get any errors on your computer? Have you tried connecting the computer right to the modem and bypassing the router? Have you updated your NIC drivers?
