Need help with computer build + monitor.

Alright anyone who can help me here will be a life saver. First off, I am planning on getting this monitor for my pc/ using for my xbox 360 as well http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824001280R , but after that I am completely new to building computers so I am open for any suggestions. I am looking to edit videos, play games, and do school work. I was planning on getting a psystar computer, but i realized it would be more beneficial to build my own possibly with two hard drives and create the dual boot myself? If anyone is willing to help me pick out all the parts I would be very greatful. I can spend about 600 possibly 700 on the project itself.

hi,
you need to run good update anti virs in safe mode-nod32 is good.
run good registry cleaner - i use ms-errors
and you should run a spyware mallware software i use s&d
