Default Need help on Computer build.

I'm pretty new to computers but i want to learn. Im was gonna buy a pre built but a friend recommended building my own. But i don't exactly know all the parts i need and if they would be compatible. So if somebody could post a build for me, that would be very cool. Im pretty much a casual gamer, so i dont need anything to extravagant. My budget is about 450$ ( not including OS), but i would spend more if i had to.....sorry if this is the wrong section btw.

$450 is OK if you spend it wisely.

CPU: Intel Pentium Dual core E5200 < Which is actually a "Core" and has nothing to do with the old Netburst architecture.
Mobo: MSI P43
RAM: 2x2GB 1066
GPU: Hd 4850
PSU: OCZ 500W modular
HDD: Hitachi 500GB
Case: CM Elite 330
Disk drive: Samsung 22x

Total is around $460 I think.

Yup, that's everything you'll need to build a computer.

This is my 1st time doing it, but is it hard to actually put it together or is it pretty straight forward, with like plugging what into what.

It's not too hard. There are quite a few tutorials that will show you the ins and outs of assembling a computer.

Here's one to get you started: Computer Assembly - How To Assemble A PC

Here's where I bought mine. There are no instructions and they don't offer any support. The graphics card I received was bad but I returned it with no problems.

Best of luck!
