Thumbs up Need help with compatibility (please read)

i really want to kno if the AMD PHENOM X4 9850 2.5GHZ 640KB processor works with my motherboard:
Manufacturer: ASUSTek computer inc.
Model: NARRA2 2.00
Chipset: NVIDIA MCP61 Rev.: A3
LCPIO: Fintek F8000

plz tell me if the processor will work with my motherboard

hmm, cant really find the mobo you posted.
But i am thinking its this one
check your mobo with the pictures on the site.
If it matches.
Then i am sorry to inform you that you cannot use Phenom since Phenom uses AM2+ and your mobo only supports AM2

AM2+ is actually backwards compatible with AM2, but I highly doubt that there will be a BIOS update for Phenom support on that motherboard.
