Default need help choosing video card

i am planning to get a 256mb pci-e video card for my new system. i have an athlon 64 3500+ and i am planning to play games like hl2, farcry, battlefield2, doom3,f.e.a.r, ect. with maxed out settings and with high fps rates. can you show me any cards that can do this and are $140 or lower? thanks

cant do that with 140 dollars

best i can do is eVGA 6600GT for 130 dollars at
www.monarchcomputer.com

if you wan to max it out you have to go with 6800GT for around 300 dollars

get the 6600 gt it probably will be able to run things on very high but dont get the x700 it sux.

i have it too but i can not max out on BF2 otherwise it runs good except for one other thing it runs HOT

dont worry about it running hot because all nvidia cards do but deffinately go with the 6600gt
