Hi everyone, I'm looking to replace my current graphics card and PSU (see below) for the upcoming release of Far Cry 2, I don't really know what I should go for, I know my current Sparkle 8600 GT will play the game of MED. Though I want to run the game and make my eyes below out from the pretty graphics. I want to pull some serious frames, but my budget is only 200 - 250 dollars, so please feel free to give me some input onto what I should buy.

Thanks, Drexler.

I don't like loud cards ;). I'm looking toward Sliing 2 9800GTX's. But I just don't know

It's not that loud...I have two. Just set the fan @ 35% and it's pretty quiet, and keeps it at tolerable temperatures.

Two 9800GTXs will put you considerably above your limit (with a new PSU)- and I'm pretty sure two 9800GTXs are louder than a single 4870.

The 4870 is $100 off it's normal price...it's a great deal, and I say go for it.

On tiger, 2 9800GTX will run my round 200, I think I can milk another 50, for a PSU, but is the 4870 better than a 9800.

The 4870 is better than a single 9800GTX by far...the 4850 is better than a single 9800 (about on par with the 9800GTX+).

A single 9800GTX is $160-180....they will not run anything close to $200 together >.<

well, i can't find my glasses. LOL

idk, yeah I'll go for it. Can't wait for far cry 2
