My mom's friend's computer just fried. It was 11 years old:eek: So I'm not going to attempt to fix it, there really is no point as her kids are growing up and getting more and more into gaming.
However, she is hellbent on getting a prebuilt PC, she's afraid of having anyone build her computer. :(
She is willing to spend $700 for the tower, monitor, and keyboard + mouse.
However, if I find anything that's <800 she'll be willing to pay for it.
Can you guys link me some prebuilts that would be perfect for them?
I'm assuming since they don't use their PC for more than browsing and a bit of gaming I would cut back on HDD space to put a couple more bucks into the GPU and Processor. Thanks :)

Edit: To give a sense of how old this PC was, the North Bridge Heastink actually managed to somehow fall off the Motherboard and the computer also fried at the same time  You could smell the burning everytime you turned it on
