Keep that hard drive you have already. Total price is a coulpe hundred dollars more than your specs, but I like looking at this one. It's not bad. More money with the dual core.
in my opinion that setup is perfect i wish i had done something similar when i got my comp but unfortunately i didnt know enough about comps at the time also instead of the raptor hard drive just go with a segate SATA2 hard drive and its about the same speed but cheaper and higher capacity also if that cpu is a little to expensive get a amd64 3500+ and that comp will still own as for the setup u suggested well its not bad but u wana stay away from intel when it comes to gaming cause amd is far better suited for it

I still don't understand why exactly AMD is better for gaming. What makes this so?
It's because the processors are like different, intel has big clock speeds, amd has smaller clock speeds but the cpu does more stuff with in one hz.
Amd just is better for gaming, but u can game with intels too, I know that my P4 is more than enough for all of the current games.

Yeah, your soon to be PC sounds pretty damn good, mammikoura. I heard it was something to do with the architecture of the AMD processors that made them superior.

Intel seems more like the type of people who go along with the idea that "bigger is better". AMD seems more like the types who figure functionality rules over "aesthetics", if you will.
