The problem with laptops is what you bought is what you're stuck with.
Only thing I can say is if you're having problems with the vid system update the drivers.

Yeah, well Alienware supposedly introduced a new type of system where you can swap the graphics card in their notebooks.

But people say their customer service for lappy's is horrible. Plus they're expensive. I think that when its time to upgrade your gfx, it'll be time to upgrade other things.

I would go with the nVidia Geforce 6800 GO. It's sweet.
