Ahhh the wonders of the internet. It's even smarter than the IT here in my country. They told me to change my whole motherboard, when all i needed to do was clean the vents.

Indeed, I emailed GIGABYTE saying I had a problem with my PC, told them what I'd done, swapping RAM, clear CMOS, reseat CPU, remove Graphics card etc, and hey replied telling me to do exactly what I'd done for a second time!

Turns out I only had to click the power button three times when unplugged from the mains to eliminate the excess current.

Go figure. lol
