Ok I have a problem with my laptops cpu and im unsure about where to start resolving it, I bought a laptop of a guy a while back and he changed its original cpu (pentium 4) out for a pentium m or somthing like that and its supposed to run at 2.8 gigs but its only running at 1.2 gigs, i think maybe he didnt install it right or maybe it hasnt been properly clocked so my question is what can i do to make it run at its full potential, what are some things i can look at they may have bin done inproperly. thx. the laptop is a gateway 400sd4 X86 windows xp pro, 512mb ram, thats all i know if you need more info just let me know.
