Default need help!

okay so heres the story. i left my pc on today while i was away, and it turned out to b a pretty damn hot day and on hot days my room gets insanely hot. so i got home and my pc was acting all funny, its lagging wen opening multiple programs and even wen im just talking to people on msn and listening to music. i think something might have overheated a bit. im thinking it might b my memory, what do you guys think?

wut r ur specs also shut it off for a bit so it can cool down and add some fans to the room lol

Ok, DL Speedfan, record the temps and tell us what they are. Is the CPU OCed at all? Is the HSF after market? Did you apply thermal paste properly?

sorry its taking so long its just so freaking laggy right now. so the cpu is 55C, its not OCed, its not a after marked HSF, and yeah thermal paste is on properly

Wait 55. Thats a bit hot. My cousin has that processor and under load it hits 40C. Run a mem test.
