I have that motherboard, and that CPU, and they go really well together
Though, the motherboard might not be the most up to date anymore, but I'm happy with it, seeing as I won't update for a very long time.
I don't agree with going for a Raptor drive though. In my opinion for every day use, they just are not worth it, if you've spent a lot or not.
I have 2 320gb Seagate Barracuda's which run at 7200RPM, and are running in a RAID 1 formation, mirroring each other, so if one ever failed, I'd still have all my data.
It'd be very expensive to do something like that with a Raptor.
