Default Need A Good AGP Card

sorry for my last post, i was really freakin pissed, then she said, "how bout that ram for the Dell?", then i remembered that i was going to 512 mb's for it and said okay. so now i need to know what the best AGP videocard i can get for $275. i need to get a 450 watt PSU first then i'll get the card. i prefer a Nvidia over ATi because i they're cheaper and better, so thanx for your input!

nvidia's best and last agp card is the 6800gt (maybe a better version of 6800 but gt is grear) and you can prolly get one for that price.. if not get the 6600gt not to much of a difference unless playing the best of the best, and even then only barely noticable. As far as PSU antec smartpower is what I use and what I reccomend my customers use.

Yes! That is the best AGP Card that is nVidia which is the obvious smart choice . eVga is also known to be one of the BEST nVidia video card makers.

N OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Get one with 256. You HAVE to have 256 ram on your video card if you wish to game without any bottlenecking. Just trust me on this. Oh yea and the EvGA isnt a good idea.

Dude your best bet is to get an X800 Pro or a 6800GT or Ultra. Either way try to get something that has AT LEAST 12 pixel pipelines. Anything below that isn't owrth buying. So just get a card that you think is good, then compare that to another card. Remember when comparing, compare the price, the core clock speed, the memory clock speed, the memory, the bit rate, and mostly the pixel pipelines. Hope this was helpful

That's because they don't make 6800's anymore. Wait a while; the 6800GS AGP will come out soon.

NewEgg is also having specials, along with just about every other computer store on the planet. So try to find a good deal, wether it be retail on from the internet. Do what best suits what YOU want. It's YOUR money, so spend it on something that you'll like and want for the next few years. Hope this helps.
