Hi everyone

I have purchased a Asus 24 inch 1080P monitor with sound (recommended for gaming on google) £158

A Madcatz R.A.T 7 gaming mouse £55

A microsoft 4000 ergonomic keyboard £28

Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit SP1 £60

A Steelseries qck pad £15

Now I have £550 to spend on a great gaming pc, I can stretch to £650

The problem is, I really have no idea about computers and there components, but I'm willing to give building it myself a try and have bought a anti-static wrist band £3

I have £550-£650 leftover -

I wish to play battlefield 3 on this pc on ultra or near ultra settings

I live in the United kingdom, parts via ebay would be cheaper? new?

Please can someone help me out?

Thank you :)

my mate has This and plays bf3 on ultra with a moderate rig. so that or any better and your golden. leaving £373 so your prob going to hav to go the AMD route.

mobo- something like this £105
cpu - Fx-4 4170 black edition £101
psu - Corsair 600w. £67
RAM - G skill 8gb £42
hdd - Western black 500gb £67
ssd - Samsung 830 128gb (not really req, just a luxury) -£88
dvd- Sony dvd thing £14

case is personal but start from £30 for a small funky one.

Cit gaming smallish case £30

All just an idea at what our looking for. what you think?

you cant use a caviar green as your main boot drive tho. get the black edition.

Iv heard bad things and reviews about the sandisk ssd too.

But yeah i think that would make a good budget gaming rig to play bf3 on ultra.
