Nvidias equal to the 4850, though the 250 is a bit more expensive.

why do you need to SLI them? listen to sniperviper and computear. you won't go wrong with a 4850. and youd be saving money in the long run.

SLI and crossfire are best used if you go with one really high end card at first and then when it gets cheaper you SLI/crossfire it.

i know what sli and crossfire are and when to use them. but im asking why he is adamant about using sli. why buy a mobo with multiple x16 slots and 2 gpus, when you can buy a cheaper mobo and 1 card that will deliver the same performance?
