I leave my comp on to downlaod for long periods of time. usually for about 8 hrs when i go to work or it could be up to 2 days if im away. the trouble is that when its been downloading for a while, say 6hrs it looses it connection to the routor or the routor fails to pick up the internet DNS servers etc. this is all sorted usaully with a simple restart for the routor either by just pulling out the power cable or by going into it by 192.168.2.1. but i cant do this if im not here. so i was wondering if there was anyway that it could automatically restart it say every 5hrs. i was thinking it would be more complicated to do it by software and was thinking if there was something out there like a timer switch that would switch it of and on again. anyone got any suggestions?

its a belkin f5d7632-4. and its connected using wireless USB. the line is tiscali 2Mb unlimited, by far NOT the best!!!! and im building up a case against them to get it cancelled.
