Question Need Answers Fast

Is a 2.8Ghz dual processor faster than a 3.4 ghz single processor?

Also:
I have a no money really, and I want to buy this, is this alright to get?

yeas a 2.8 dual core would be plenty faster than a 3.2 single core

it says it has a cd player, but does that mean dvd player also?

yes and no.
this only has 1 gb of ram, and its best to have 2.
It doesnt have a graphics card, so you wont be able to play games on medium settings unless its an really old game.
Unless you get another 1gb of ram ($20-$30), and a graphics card ($150 preferably if you want to run everything except for crysis on high), this computer wont be good for gaming, you could probably run it on low settings and might lag a little.
But then you might need a new PSU too, depending on what graphics card you get.
If it says CD, and doesnt say DVD, then no DVD player
I dont think a Intel Pentium 4 HT is a dual core, its a single core.
the only dual cores intel has is pentium D, and core 2 duo.
judging from the description, it sounds like a bunch of BS he took of from a site, and trying to rip people off.

upon checking the ebay item.... That computer is old as h*ll, dont get it, its not worth.
most computer nowadays come with DVD burners, at least 160gb of HDD, and a dual core.
