Default Need advice on my alienware

So hear is the prob I got an alienware m5500i r3 for around 100 witch I thought was cheap and I wanted to do some upgradeing on it cuz it is a bit old so I was just wondering if I can have 4gigs of ram I'n it or not I'm not so sure because some websites say it can only have 2 gigs but yet others say you can have 4 so I'm not too sure and one other thing is it possible to upgrade the 32 bit to a 64 bit if so can u tell me how since there isnt much on the internet about this laptop thx guys and I hope u don't mind the spelling many thanks rowcon

use this to scan your system and it will tell you what the max mem you can have.

Use the Crucial System Scanner software to find out what type of memory is in your computer
