Default Need advice: Buying a low-cost external hard drive

I'm in the process of shopping for a low-cost external hard drive. It will primarilyt be used to back up hundreds of pictures for my business (20 GB's currently). Can anyone recommend a good quality, yet cheaper, external drive? Thanks

Cheaper than what? I wouldn't just go for the cheapest you can find, the chances of failure will be a lot higher. I personally use the WD Mybooks - they're not the cheapest money can buy but they're good value, reliable and do the job.

i have a 200GB 2.5" SATA hard drive in a USB 2.0 caddy.

totalled about 30, half what the average desktop external is around here.
