OK so it seems that opterons are the hype at the moment, but this is not the reason why im opting ( 
) for opterons. Im going to get an Asus K8N-DL motherboard which is a server/workstation motherboard, and the Opteron Dual Core 280 (2.4 Ghz). BUt the problem is that this is socket 940, and now im hearing good things about socket 939 Opterons, so what should I do, are the socket 939 Opterons as good as socket 940 Opterons. and Im only talking about dual core.
