HEEEEELLLLPPPPP!!!!

I have a problem with my toshiba laptop. Everytime i go to turn it on, it won't start. There are these green lights that come on everytime i turn it on, but after a few seconds they turn orange, and one starts blinking.
I thought it was the battery, so i left it alone for a few hours to charge. When i came back it would turn on, but still wouldn't start. What is wrong?

I really think that it is the AC Adapter, is that right?

What about removing the battery? Just to see what it does... *shrugs*

Nope, I tried both those ideas. I took the battery out, I tried to recharge the battery. Nothing. It will turn on, but it wont start. Like, nothing comes up on the screen, the fan wont turn on. Just like i said before, just those two lights.
