well my compaq has just developed a new probelm (Compaqs have a habit of doing that 
)Well sometimes when i boot my computer it will oad windows XP,and where it is supposed to say "welcome",it just comes up with a black screen with the curos right in the middle,when you try moving the cursor it movesafter after about 2-3 seconds like it has no ram so it can boot,if i reset the CMOS it works fine,i have taken the clock battery out and it seems to fix.Does it needa new clock battery or is it something else???
