Actaully, I only see one problem with this setup. The processor and MOBO. Get a socket 939! That will allow for future upgrades, and will give your MOBO a nice segway to the future as a result.

How about this then;

AMD Athlon 64 3500+ Winchester 90nm (Socket 939) - Retail £164.95

MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum (Socket 939) Motherboard £76.95

GeIL 1GB (2x512MB) PC3200 Value Dual Channel Kit CAS2.5 £87.50

Maxtor DiamondMax Plus 9 120GB 6Y120MO SATA 8MB Cache - OEM £45.50

OcUK ATI Radeon 9700 Pro 128MB DDR TV-Out/DVI (AGP) - OEM £79.95

NEC ND3500 16x DVD±RW Dual Layer ReWriter - OEM £37.00

LG GDR-8163B 16x DVD-Drive - Retail £15.10

OcUK Value 1715 17" LCD Monitor £135.00

Antec Sonata Piano Black Quiet Case - 380W TruePower Silent PSU £72.50

Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition - OEM £47.65

Ahead Nero Burning Rom v6 - OEM £3.99

OcUK Value Floppy Drive - Silver £6.50

Subtotal £772.59
VAT £135.20
Total £907.79

EDIT: No tv tuner and KB/Mouse, to get this in your budget i surgest a 3200 cpu as really that would still be alright for playing games, and then in a year when your feeling the effects of a slow cpu (compared to next years models) you could buy a better cpu for a lot less

try getting a 450 watt psu for that setup. 380 watts is kind of weak.
