my psu slowing me down ???

i have a 400watt psu thats running all my stuff see sig can only o/c so far so i was woundering if my psu is maybe slowing me down and if its time for a new one ?

I don't see how a PSU can slow things down. They just provide power to your components. The 7800GT's draws a lot of power when used. Didn't the system requirements state something like 450watt or something for a 7800GT card? I forgot.

on some they do but mine didnt say that.

Let me look up mine. Yeah, it says minimum of 450 watt power supply is needed to run my version of the 7800GT. The XFX versions say 400 watts. You should be ok with what you have. Try doing some disk cleanups and defrag. It should speed it up a bit.

it could be the psu. Since when u oc the parts consume more power, and that means that the power supply needs to give it more power.
Atleast that's what I think.
