OK i have an Okia ATX Power Supply 450w

+3.3 V@22A, +5V@15A, +12v1 @14A +12V2 @16A, -12V @ 0.3A, +5VSB @ 2.5A

Now i just bought a BFG 8800 GTS 512mb oc, a AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ 2.60GHz Processor Black Edition, M2N-SLI Mobo with OCZ PC6400 ram and i have a seagate SATA 500GB HD with a basic dvd-r drive.

Will i have problems with the power supply or must i buy a new PSU?

That should just about cover your system. The average 8800GTS needs a 450W PSU w/ 28A on the 12V rails. Your PSU supplies 30A @12V.

If you have any stability issues, I would recommend looking into a more powerful unit.

The Antec Basiq 500W ATX12V Power Supply for only $34.99 would be a great choice while staying inexpensive.

well otherwise i do have an Antec True 430 that has a single rail +12V @ 26 A but i assume that would not be enough.

And if i was to go SLi on the gfx is there a PSU that is under 100$ that would be good? Cheaper the better :p

Oh what?! You can add the up? God, I guess I don't really know about PSUs do I? I was breaking my ass looking for a PSU with 12V@30A but I couldn't find...all I could find was like 18-22 tops.

i dont know anything about psu, all i know is the watts and the 80+.
do those actually matter? because when i search for a psu, i only search the ones that are trusted in brand, over 450w, and its 80+ certified.

this is what im running

Asus 560i sli mobo

AMD 6000+ Dual core

2 gb of ram.

250gb hdd

1 cd blue-ray RW drive.

multimedia bus.

1 cold cathode light.

4 fans.

and a sparkle 8600gt 1gb

and im running it on a 420 watt power supply.

but if your going to do anything. like sli put a 750w power supply in it, then you should be fine
