Angry my OC wont stick

i have a geforce go 6800 ultra. when i overclock it says its a good frequency but then i go back to look and its stock again.....PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

what are you using to overclock it with? 3rd party software, bios,.....?

i tryed riva tuner, i tried with unlocking profesional tools with coolbits 2.0, and power strip.....im stumped on wat else to try

Does it return to stock every time you reboot the PC? If you use Coolbits to OC it, you need to check the box on the bottom of the screen that says "Apply these settings at Startup" in the display properties overclocking section. Make sure you click on OK too, just in case if the settings didn't apply.

Try getting rid of all the other OC programs you got going for the video card. Delete the registry entry for Coolbits. Update the driver and reapply the registry for Coolbits again. Basically, start over from scratch.

i tryed that like 100 times and it wont work...i think my card might have a lock on it
