I've decided to build my own laptop from scratch. Yes, from scratch, just like a desktop. And yes, these parts will be expensive because their LAPTOP PARTS, not desktop parts! So please refrain from using negativity when expressing your opinions...
So far, I've decided on these parts:
-ASUS Z71V Chassis w/ 15.7" Widescreen LCD, nVIDIA GeForce Go 6600 (128mb RAM & PCI-E interface), integrated 56kbps modem, Gigabit Ethernet, 5x USB 2.0 ports, a card reader and a bundled battery for approximately 6 hours of operation.

Mind you, that this is a laptop, not a desktop, so some of the prices are okay for Mobil solutions. What do you guys think? The only thing that the Qosimo G25 has that's better than my setup is the 17" Widescreen w/ Ultimate TruBrite Technology. Even then, my ASUS Z71V's 15.4" Widescreen has better resolution (1680 x 1050 compared to 1440 x 900).
