Hi all!!! I am upgrading my computer (BIG time) and I am not sure how big the PSU needs to be. Here is what my new system will look like;
- AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400+ @£350 from www.xtsit.com
- DFI LanParty SLI-DR nForce4 SLi @£145 from www.gladiatorcomputers.co.uk
- OCZ 512MB EL DDR PC3200 Gold Series Voltage eXtreme @£70 from www.gladiatorcomputers.co.uk
- Hitachi Deskstar T7K250 250GB 7200RPM SATA II 8MB @£80 from www.gladiatorcomputers.co.uk
- WinFast Nvidia Geforce PX 6800 LE TDH 256MB PCI Express @£135 from www.xtsit.com
- 512Mb of memory, 1x250Gb IDE secondary HDD, case, DVD+/-RW drive, CD-RW drive and floppy drive all from my old computer
So, to power all this stuff i need a good PSU. I found the PSUs (OCZ Powerstream ATX2.0 PSU) I want but what wattage do I need?
Thanks to everyone, SilverStream
