My suggestion is wait until Christmas.
More of the PCI-E will be introduced and the AGP motherboards should start to really down in price.
P4 board manufacturers.
1. ASUS - very popular and stable.
2. SOYO - excellent chipset and very stable. Good overclcking. Great options.
3. MSI - great at overclocking and getting great benchmarks. This is for someone who likes to keep the side off their computer.
Stay away from DFI, it's just for looks; very unstable in my opinion.
