no i dont think it will support it. i believe that motherboard only supports first generation core 2 duo's

It will not support that CPU. That Biostar motherboard only supports up to 1066MHz FSB CPU's. The processor you selected runs on a 1333MHz FSB.

Yes, it will work, the only difference between it and the e6400 is double the cache size.

yeah but that board doesnt has pci-e where the one he has now is agp, so hes screwed if he has an agp card, if hes using the onboard graphics on his current board hes screwed with that one because it doesnt have onboard graphics, so with that choice of board hes screwed either way.
