Default My mother wants to know if there is a way to TYPE IN PDFS

Like there are forms online for something, like that you can print out and fill in with your hand. Is it possible to type in those forms from a computer? Maybe with some Adobe program?

Use Adobe Acrobat Professional. They have a Text Edit feature that works very well. I've done this several times when I need to modify my PDF formatted resume. Omnipage Pro does something similar in which is allows you to do the same, but with a scanned image.

Yes its easy. If you can download PDF write software that will work. But remember that at Computerforums.org we dont allow you any tips about being naughty and getting burnt software. PDF readers are free but PDF writers are paied for.
