my laptop sux

hey everybody i need help i m sick of this computer, it keeps turning off itself everytime i try to burn a cd, download a big file ( movie or music) and/or loading programs form a cd. i got so tired of it that i reset the computer like i comes from factory and still doing the same. the laptop is pluged into the wall so the batery is 100 % but the batery is alredy 2 years old no sure if that could be a problem. i own a toshiba satellite 1905 and everytime i use the computer hard ( give several task to do) i hear a strong noise like is working very hard ( it sounds like fan) and it turn off itself. i just put all the settings like it came from factory and delete everything and still performing bad, i need help

This wil be an overheating issue. Laptops are not ment for these straining tasks.

well the laptop never do anything like that before and i use it in the same way what could cause the over heating? and why it can handle it like it did before? what can i do?
