My Ipaq Is Going Crazy....

I was working on my ipaq and All of a sudden it was going crazy. going slow and opening stuff so I shut it off and pressed the little hole at the bottom. Now When I put it on the craddle It says Ipaq PocketPC at the bottom it says COMPAQ. So It wont go to the main menu... Whats going on. Why wont it start the hardrive over?
