Is my hard drive going to die?

Ok I play a game alot the requirements are LOW..... PC Requirements:

• Graphics Card: Nvidia Geforce 2 (32MB RAM) or higher, or ATI Radeon 8500 (32MB RAM) or higher
• Computer: 800MHZ or higher, 256MB RAM or more
• OS: Windows XP/2000
• Internet Connection: Broadband (DSL/Cable Modem/LAN)
• DirectX 8 or 9
.....Yea.... Its locks up on the game ....... ... computer shuts down to the blue screen of death saying *system has halted*....It may be my motherboard ....(abit) ..... dont know .... the computer hasnt been performing to what its specs are ... My p4 1.4ghz give the computer below in my signiture a run for its money ....

I have ran spyware
ran virus
restored windows
changed ram...

Have you checked to see what programs are running in the background in CTRL+ALT+DEL?

i did a restore ... i think ill try a new motherboard ... been needing one anyway
