Default My game crashes after about 5 minutes of play

Wehen i play my game, its star wars galaxies if that matters, it seems to crash after about 5 minutes of play. I meet all the minimum requirements for the game so i dont understand why. Is it the codeing in the game or is it my computer could someon help me out please.

i have 735mb of ram
nvidia Geforce2 integrated GPU
amd athalon processor at 1396mhz
and windows 2k with service pack 4

what is an intergrated GPU?

EDIT: Does GPU stand for Graphical Proccessing unit?

Hey paute... Welcome to CF!!! yeah GPU stands for Graphics Processing Unit. and paute, never use integrated if your gonna play games.

So should i buy a new grapchis crad? I dont knwo much about computers so if someoen could share with me a price range on some new decent graphic crads i would appreciate it.

yes it worked fine right beofre they released a new patch, after that i have been crashing. My frind plays with no problems though.

Why dont u try reinstalling the game the patch might have nackered things up, once i had the same problem as you and after a reinstall it worked fine.

I would get a new graphics card though. a Radeon 9600 pro 128 is good and cheap.

I fixed it! All i had to do is download a driver update and its working perfectly now, thanks eveyerone.
