my fan won't stop even in stand by mode.

i was just wondering, if someone could tell me why my computer's cpu fan doesn't stop when it is in stand by mode, all of my other computers did, specs in signature..

It is probably down to the motherboard. It may keep the fan running if it is to hot or it is probably just a good idea to keep the fans running anyway as everything would over heat really fast without it even in standby mode.

The fan going is better. Lower temps means longer cpu life. Harddrive coolers are a good idea to.

yea, my cpu fan is really loud and i can't go to sleep, it said it was gonna go 27 bda or what ever the sound goes by, but i can't go to sleep now O_O its really too loud, i acually bought a new cpu fan for no reason

All I can say is move the computer or your bed.
Maybe sound proof the case with a piece of foam around the case. Or just don't sleep-joke
