I'm at school right now (limited account) so I can't do anything, but did you go to tools, options, or anything? right click on the screen? change the category view? look anywhere in category for that?

Ah, well, to get that back you simply do this:

Open up my computer, and go to Tools, Folder Options.
When in the General tab at the top, look under Tasks, and simply select "Show Common Tasks In Folders".

It will now appear at the side.

I hope this helps
