Default Is my computer good> Suggestions?

3.5GHz over clocked to 3.9 Intel i7 3770K Processor with Liquid Cooling
16 GB 1333MHz DDR3 Memory
2TB Hard Drive
Nvidia 550 GTX-TI 1GB GDDR5 Video Card
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit
------------------------------------------------------------------------
I was seeking help to see if my newly bought computer could run
flight simulator and battlefield 3? I don't know much about computers
and have been out of the gaming world for a bit,but I'm looking to jump back in,but I would like advice on what I need to do too have a computer that will run on high settings on both games. Advice would be greatly appreciated and I apologize in advance if I posted in the wrong spot.

Thank you.

Certainly good enough, bottleneck for gaming will be the Graphics Card if anything.

Nice machine.

Hey, yeah you have a nice machine as Joe said looks like your weakness would be your graphics card, however i would have thought it should still be able to run BF3 on reasonable settings and FS fine.

If you are looking for running games at absolutely max settings then upgrade your graphics card and with a machine with that kind of grunt behind it you may want to look at getting an SSD drive as well.

you could add another 550ti, but it's just a low-mid end card from last generation.
you might find a cheap 550ti on ebay you could add in SLI. (sli = 2 nvidia cards working together).
i would not spend to much money on a second card if i where you.
i would actually sell that card and buy a new one. but i you can fine a cheap 550ti it might be well worth it.
you can sell it as a SLI solution when you want to upgrade later on.

A top performing card would be something like a GTX 670 / 680 or the monster 690.
there are also some high end cards from AMD, like the Radeon 7950 / 7970 and the biggest monster on the market at this point the 7990.

You could but check to see you've enough PSU wattage to handle another card.
