My computer can't remember.....

When I go to a website that requires a password and user name, I have to type it in every time I go there, even though I checked " the remember me box " on the previous visit. What is the problem , and step by step how do I fix it?

are you using FF?
or IE whatever number
if its FF and you close the browser each time, you could have it set so that it will delete the cookies when you close the browser
so you have a couple of choices if thats the case
1: just minimize the window when you dont want to surf
2: set the cookie deletion to manual in FF

but no one but you knows what browser you are using
