i take it u mean adding some more ram later? yeah thats fine, just wanted to make sure u knew.

i use an NEC dvd writer and am very happy with it, also i use an MSI k8 platinum ultra, also very happy with this mobo, i used to have an asrock but had to replace it as it wasnt 100% compatible with my gforce 7950 gx2, but the MSI is, and its a great board for overclocking.

btw is the higher speed ddr ram much more expensive? its always worth gettin as fast as u can thats supported by the board., i have the same cpu as u apart from its a 939 socket, and again im very happy with it, i have it running at 2420, def a good cpu. I have an Acer 19inch AL1914 and im pretty happy with it, id like to upgrade tho and im not sure id get an acer again to be honest, but ive had no pixel problems or dead ones...
