Default Is My Build Any Good?

Hey, I'm quite new to the computer building scene, and wish to get in depth with it along the years. I've put together what I think might be a good computer for myself, but not entirely sure if it is efficient or actually reliable. The thing is I have such a low budget to work with, it is hard to choose hardware that can run games on high settings for the best value possible. Currently, my parts I have selected come out to around $815 including a monitor I to replace my old one with.
I'd appreciate the feedback, and it would be awesome if you could show me a different build with better performance and for the same if not cheaper, than what I have right now. Thanks!

Parts List.

I would upgrade your CPU to an i5 3570K for better performance.

See here Intel Core i5-3570K, EVGA GeForce GTX 660, Rosewill Challenger-U3 - System Build - PCPartPicker

I was told that the i3 will cause a bottleneck and hold back the GTX 660, is this true?

The i3 is pretty weak. Go for at least an i5 or and AMD FX-63xx series.
