wot is the difference with DDR and DDR2, is it the speed and if so why is the 1000MHz DDR2 not DDR3 as in the graphics cards

the corsair 8500 is really good. I havent seen anything about Musnkin for their DDR2 Redline. If you can get your hands on some Corsair 5400UL or 8000UL, those would be the best as they use D9 Fatbodies aka Micron BT-3 or D9DQT.
