Default multiheaded system advice please?

sup all, now ive come accross this program called Betwin 2000/xp
and my goal for this year is give my house a mainframe, i am pimping it to the max of technology now i what i would like to know first is there a better program for this which will allow me to have muliple screens, keyboards,mice, speakers so i can wire accross the house ect so each screen will act indepently? anyhowz so far i got lined up intel 2.6ghz quad core, 8gb of ram 500gb/3 hdds a few crappy video cards which ive bundled up over the years planning on upgrading once system is working, and what i plan on doing is buying some surveylance equipment and hooking up thorugh a pci card of some sort any ideas welcome
