Default Multi-touch trackpads/mice

like on all the new macbooks, and the apple magic mouse

do you think they'll ever become the norm for Windows machines, or will they stay mostly on Macs?

My Eee PC has a multi-touch trackpad.

The apple mouses do work with windows, but they require a lot of tinkering to get all gestures working properly.
