MSI K8 Diamond

Hi everyone,

I am going to build a new computer and I originally was going to go with a Celeron D system with an albatron motherboard. Now I am thinking of going with a AMD system. I was looking at an online store for computers and I found this board

I am going to buy an AMD Athlon 64 socket 939 processor to go with this board, and I am wondering does anyone else have the same processor and is it a good decision to go with it?

the same processor? you never mentioned a processor, you mentioned a socket type. i have the same board except mine is the better version, i think (look in my sig to see it). now that would probably be a nice board, i know mine is. i have a AMD 64 3000+ "winnie" core and i like my system i would suggest getting a AMD X2 3800+ or better but a 3000+ is still very nice and will play games very well.
