Default MSI 6600Gt card help!!

Does this card require a hookup to a power source other than the on the PCIe port has?? It says nothing in my manual about it but there is a layout of the card and it shows an external power hookup. THANKS!!!

I use to have an nvidia MSI 6600GT PCI-e card. No there are no power hookups that go to it. Doesn't neet it.

There is an SLi hookup if that's what you mean. You can connect that using an SLi bridge that comes with your motherboard and add that to another 6600GT video card.

It looks like they got a new cooler on top of the GPU and supporting RAM:
