Default MS Office Versions

From oldest to newest.............but where does Office XP fit in?

Office 2000
Office 2003
Office 2007

Never used it but I have a legit copy of office XP on disk, worth anything?
I'm now running 2003.........

Office XP came between 2000 and 2003, as stated by here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Office_XP

I don't think you are going to get that much out of it unless you find someone who really needs it. A business or something would love to get a hold of a cheap copy of Office, so start looking there.

Its prolly not worth too much , maybe a small local business as they would want cheap software . In terms of usability it is still very good software . Maybe good for someone with an older machine as well

Cool..............thanks for all the information. I do have 2003 so it doesn't matter to me but I could install the XP version on someone elses PC that doesn't have office (maybe my parents - 70+ and have no clue what Office is) ..........better than nothing.

Thanks again............

openoffice.org is where its at.....i had a beta of office 2007 until it expired....couldnt open any of my documents (.docx not .doc) and i wasnt going to spend money on a wordprocessor. openoffice.org is pretty much the same as microsoft office....just not a hole in your pocket. although i did like office 2007 ALOT
